New Wine

Once I was a brand new vessel
Filled to the top with brand new wine
It flowed right through me
Like a river flowing to the sea
The more I poured out, the more I'd find

But then I guess I sort've settled in
To complacency, apathy and other sin
The new wine turned stale
The new vessel turned old and frail

Fill me up with some new wine Jesus
Give me a new heart to hold it in
I don't wanna get back on track
I need to start all over again

Fill me up with some new wine Jesus
Wash away all this pain and pride
Fill me up Lord
Fill my cup with new wine

My mind's so washed with this religion
My spirit's crushed beneath the tide
I'd trade everything I know
For a fresh anointing of the Holy Ghost
So I could feel alive
Won't you come on in
Come on inside

Fill me up with some new wine Jesus
Give me a new heart to hold it in
I don't wanna get back on track
I need to start all over again

Fill me up with some new wine Jesus
Wash away all this pain and pride
Fill me up Lord
Fill my cup with new wine
